Plano Concave Cylindrical Lens
A plano-concave cylindrical lens is used to expand light in on-axis. A negative cylindrical lens is able to diverge collimated input light away from a line. Plano-concave cylindrical lenses are used for one-dimensional compression of images, anamorphic beam shaping, and laser line generation.

Descriptions Of Plano Concave Cylindrical Lens
The cylindrical lens opticsforms a divergent linear virtual image, which is used to control the size of the beam in one direction. The material of this lens is BK7, so it is not suitable for ultraviolet wavelengths.
The cylindrical lens is used inlaser scanners, spectrometers, dye lasers, acousto-optics, optical processors, and other similar applications.
We use high-quality optical glass classical optics grinding, polishing processing techniques, surface accuracy of up to λ / 4, the finish may be 40/20. We can also be processed according to customer demand layers.
Cylindrical Lens Vs Spherical Lens: Spherical lenses are lenses taken out from a sphere such as a ball. Whereas cylindrical lenses are lenses taken out from a surface of a cylinder-like a tumbler.
