Hollow particle covering powder for Low carbon tundish
The tundish cover powder is a kind of auxiliary material for steelmaking. And is mainly composed of SiO2,CaO,Al2O3, MgO etc.with the sequential process of grinding, mixing, crushing and packing. Tundish covering flux is mainly use high alkalinity to reduce oxide inclusion and high oxygen content in the steel, and avoid molten steel pollution because of chemical reaction between SiO2 in slag and Deoxidizer in steel. Tundish covering flux could effectively improve the Desulfurization effect of molten steel,and thus effectively improve the cleanliness of continuous casting molten steel.
Applicable steel: carbon content in molten steel C≤0.08
The steel has good spread ability, not skulling ,purified molten steel, prevent molten steel from secondary oxidation. Elimate the risk of carbon pickup.
