M70 is characterized with high content ofmullite, high bulk density, high thermal shock resistance, low creep value in high-temperatureand good chemical corrosion resistance. It’s the optimal material for producing various shapedand unshaped refractories and precision casting products.M70 sample mainly contains mullite phase(83-88%) and a little amount of corundum (≤3%), and traces of rutile (TiO2) and the rest is glass phase.
