Feed channel spacer is an important component of the RO membrane. It also knows as RO’s inner net, flow channel spacer, and feed spacer. It seems simple but plays an important role, it can influence pressures, overall energy consumption, and degrees of membrane fouling. The manufacture of polypropylene net can be traced back to the middle of the last century. With the development of technology, feed channel spacer production from the traditional handmade development to the automatic machine production. It also greatly improves the effectiveness of reverse osmosis membrane. The feed channel spacer is measured by mil, we can customize the specification according to customer requirements, RO’s type, and application. Nowadays, the most commonly used are 28-mil and 34-mi. Some industries believe that 34-mil spacers show more energy efficiency and can reduced pressure drop during operation. If you have other specifications requirement, we also can customize for you.
