PTFE Coated Kevlar FabricIntroductions
PTFE coated Kevlarfabric also called PTFE coated Aramid fabrics are structured by woven Kevlar fabric or Kevlar mesh coated with PTFE. There are two unique advantages of PTFE coated Kevlar fabricthan PTFE coated fiberglass fabrics: First Kevlar offers a much higher strength than fiberglass. Secondly, Kevlar offers much better resistance to hot environments where has water, especially steam which would normally reduce the life of a PTFE fiberglass conveyor belt.
PTFE coated Kevlar fabric has high tensile and tear strength than PTFE coated glass fabrics since the cost of this material is also much higher than PTFE coated glass fabric, normally it is preferred for advanced machines need extra strength and for industrial process where steam is much.
PTFE Teflon Coated KevlarFabric Details
PTFE coated Teflon Kevlarfabric is also used to strengthen the joint part of the PTFE coated fiberglass conveyor belt by laminated at the joint area.
