Samarium Cobalt Disc Magnets
SmCo disc magnetsperform extremely well in high temperatures. These SmCo magnet discs are very strong magnets and are available in diferent sizes, They belong to the permanent rare earth magnet group.
The discs are typically circular in shape and come in various sizes and thicknesses. They are commonly used in applications that require strong, compact magnets, such as motors, sensors, magnetic bearings, and medical devices.
Samarium cobalt magnets have a higher magnetic energy product compared to other magnets such as ceramic magnets and Alnico magnets. They are also able to maintain their magnetic properties at high temperatures, SmCo magnets provide excellent temperature and thermal stability, their magnetic properties stay within a very narrow range up to about 300°C (570°F, They exhibit excellent corrosion resistance and do not require any surface treatments, in addition, sintered samarium cobalt magnets offer very high resistance to demagnetization. SmCo magnets are available in a number of different grades that span a wide range of properties and application requirements.
