They usually do not need coating to protect them from environment-induced corrosion because of contenting high percentage of cobalt metals which allows more accurate tolerances and simplifies use. Also they can work for long time in high temp more than 300 Centigrade degree and can work more stable than Neodymium magnet.

They are commonly used in high performance motors, magnetic couplings, magnetic separators, sensor controls, oil pump and other equipments which performance is required to be consistent with temperature change or under easy corrosion circumstance.
