SiSiB LSR is a two-component, platinum cure silicone rubber elastomer. One component contains platinum catalyst and the other component contains methyl hydrogen siloxane as a crosslinking agent and inhibitor. LSR can be molded and cured at high temperature, LSR also has quick cycle times and less raw material handling. The molding process allows for complex part geometries and precise dimensions.

Compared with heat curing rubber (HCR), liquid silicone rubber (LSR) by SiSiB, a professional silicone products manufacturer, has excellent processing performance, and has benefits such as productivity, precision, biocompatibility and long-term stability. But LSR can only be catalyzed by platinum; HCR can use peroxide or platinum curing process.

LSR is also tasteless and odorless and can be formulated to comply with stringent FDA requirements. Liquid Silicone Rubber (LSR) displays many outstanding characteristics: excellent transparency, high tensile and tear strength, good rebound, yellowing resistance, long term flexibility over a temperature range from -50°C to 230°C, excellent processing of low viscosity, high weathering resistance to UV Radiation, elasticity at low temperature, stability at high temperature, heat and aging resistance and easily precoloured.
