Gigabit Media Converter
Shenzhen Huashi Network Technology Co. Ltd. was established in June 2011, which is an original manufacturer of networking and fiber products. Our major products including Fiber converters, Fiber switch, PoE switch, and industrial ethernet switch, etc. We always persevere in innovation and creating new technologies, make sure of all the products are more advanced than our competitor. 80%of our products are exported to more than 180 countries etc.
10/100/1000Mbps Fiber Converter
This HS-1G1E series fiber converter gigabitextends network distance with highly Gigabit performance via fiber optic cable.
Mini 10/100/1000Mbps Fiber Converter
This HS-1G1EM series gigabit media converter multimodeextends network distance with highly Gigabit performance via fiber optic cable.
Managed Fiber Swtich
HS-M16G8E-F is a second, fourth layer gigabit managed switch with 8 10/100M/1000M RJ45 electricity ports and 16 SFP optical ports.
Main Features of Gigabit Media Converter
The Gigabit Ethernet is a 1gbps media converterten times faster than Fast Ethernet. The fiber optic media converter gigabitis designed for the needs of the high-speed ISP(internet service providers) today. Gigabit media converter refers to an Ethernet converter that operates at Gigabit Ethernet speeds, which is up to 1 Gigabit per second (Gbps) (1000 Mbps). It is also backward compatible with the 10/100 standard, which is called auto-negotiation.
The Gigabit fiber converteris usually built with the latest network management features, allowing network administrators to assign QoS and security policies to specific applications. These advanced features help guarantee service level agreements and enhance security. Fast Ethernet Converter with similar management and security functions often demand a premium, in order to narrow the price gap compared to the gigabit media converter price.
Interface Types of Gigabit Ethernet Fiber Media Converter
Gigabitmediaconverter single modeis commonly designed with multiple RJ45 interfaces and/or SFP slots, the fast gigabit ethernet fiber media converterworks well using a twisted-pair copper cable (specifically, the cat5e and cat6 cables that follow the 1000BASE-T cabling standard), as well as SFP optical transceivers working on corresponding patch cable types. It's common that some fast ethernet to gigabit ethernet converters also have a couple of 10G SFP+ ports for uplinking a higher speed 10GB switch.
Benefits of Gigabit Fiber Converter
Except for providing higher bandwidth and more robust management, gigabit fiber converters are also more energy-efficient than Fast Ethernet switches. Enterprises could lower their power consumption by deploying gigabit fiber converters at the network edge.
The gigabit fiber converters on the network edge may prepare your local area network for the upcoming convergence or the next technology refresh.
In addition to gigabit fiber converters, we can also provide fiber optic media converters of different types for your needs. Get the competitive price now！
