Pharmacological Action:
Tetracycline class antibiotic. This product has a strong effect on Gram-positive bacteria such as Staphylococcus aureus, hemolytic streptococcus, Bacillus anthracis, Clostridium tetani, and Clostridium botulinum. It is also sensitive to Gram-negative bacteria such as Escherichia coli, Salmonella, Brucella, and Pasteurella. However, its antibacterial effect is stronger than that of tetracycline and oxytetracycline. Chicken oral administration is not fully absorbed, and its bioavailability is low. Clinically, it is mainly used for the prevention and treatment of chronic respiratory diseases and Escherichia coli infections in chickens.
