Sublimation Ink
is a type of ink used in dye-sublimation printing, a process where the ink is converted into a gas without passing through a liquid state. This ink is primarily used for printing on polyester fabrics, coated metals, ceramics, and other materials that can hold the dye when it transitions from solid to gas.
In the sublimation process, the ink is heated to a high temperature (around 180-200°C), causing the solid dye particles to vaporize and bond with the fibers or coating of the material. This creates a permanent, vibrant, and durable print that won't fade or peel over time. Sublimation ink is most commonly used in custom apparel, promotional products, and signage.
