Fischer-Tropsch wax can be applied in plastic (PVC) processing, such as injection molding, extrusion, and pelletizing industries. During the production of color masterbatches and modified plastics, Fischer-Tropsch wax aids in filler dispersion and provides excellent slip properties during compounding. It can serve as an external lubricant for PVC. Its low viscosity enhances production speed and aids in dispersing pigments and fillers during compounding, particularly excelling in high-viscosity extrusion systems. Compared to standard PE wax, it requires 40–50% less addition while significantly improving surface gloss (replacing Brazilian palm wax for gloss applications). When using concentrated pigments, melted Fischer-Tropsch wax effectively wets dyes and reduces extrusion viscosity. Fischer-Tropsch wax has diverse applications including hot melt adhesives, plastic lubrication, mold release agents, pipes, profiles, inks, coatings, polishing waxes, color masterbatches, rubber, candles, textiles, and more.
