Double-structure Francis Turbine Runner for Project in Papua New Guinea
On January 15, 2020, Project Owner Mr. Francis and Project Supervisor Mr. Bjarne Borrsen, visited Shenyang Getai Hydropower Equipment Co., Ltd. for FAT inspection of 2 sets of hydro-turbine units and accessories manufactured by Getai Hydropower for Hydropower Station in Papua New Guinea.
During this inspection for acceptance, Mr. Bjarne Borresen, made strict inspections and tests on hydro-turbine Unit 1# and Unit 2 # and relevant accessories, including dimension inspections, inlet & outlet clearance inspections, UT, static balancing tests of Francis runners; dimension inspections of shafts; opening inspections of distributor.
This inspection was anticipated to last for two days. But due to the high quality in manufacturing techniques and products of Getai Hydropower, the actual inspection was successfully completed half a day earlier. At the end of the inspection, and before returning to Papua New Guinea, the Project Owner and the Supervisor greatly praised the product quality, machining techniques and services provided by Getai Hydropower, and sincerely felt appreciated for the active cooperation and warm hospitality of Getai, and expected to deepen the cooperation with Getai Hydropower in the future.
