Ultrasonic sensors convert ultrasonic signals into other energy signals usually electrical signals, and have the dual functions of transmitting and receiving sound waves. At present, piezoelectric ultrasonic sensors are commonly used in automotives. Its key component is a piezoelectric wafer in a plastic or metal shell. The ultrasonic sensor composed of piezoelectric crystals is a reversible sensor. It can convert electrical energy into mechanical oscillations to generate ultrasonic waves. At the same time, when it receives ultrasonic waves, it can also convert into electricity. What Are Symptoms For Fail Ultrasonic Sensor?

Ultrasonic sensors are safety aid that work when reversing or parking, which make parking and reversing safer and more convenient. If the following faults occur, you can perform fault diagnosis for troubleshooting.

Fault phenomenon: After the reverse gear is engaged or the radar switch is pressed, the parking assist system does not respond.
