Diodes mainly used for electrostatic discharge (ESD) countermeasures. Protects integrated circuits, etc. from high-voltage ESD intrusion from USB cables, etc. ESD diodes absorb abnormal voltages from interfaces, external terminals, etc., preventing circuit failures and protecting equipment.
