How Do You Remove/Install Old Wheelchair Casters?
REMOVE/INSTALL OLD WHEELCHAIR CASTERS
When you need to remove the caster, you need to find a suitable tool, such as a wrench and socket or two wrenches, one set on the wheel caster screw, and the other tool is selected in the opposite direction to remove the screws and bolts.
When you need to install the caster, put the bolt through the fork, install a washer, align the new caster between the wheelchair forks, put the bolt through the caster, install another washer, put the latch through the fork, add the nut and tighten.
