Pure water (deionized water)is required at three critical points in everyelectrophoretic coating lineprocess:
(1) diluting the original paint concentrate when charging or replenishing the bath
(2) pre-rinsing workpieces immediately before entering the electrophoresis tank to remove surface contaminants, and (3) post-electrophoresis rinsing to remove residual bath solution from the coating film surface before curing.

Note: Conductivity is the only water quality parameter specified for e-coat process water. The water purification system is engineered to reliably achieve and maintain the target conductivity for your specific paint system.
