KETONE

A Ketone is a compound in which a Carbonyl Group is attached to two Hydroxyl Groups. According to the different hydrocarbon groups in the molecule, ketone can be divided into Aliphatic Ketone, Cyclic Ketnoe, Aromatic Ketone, Saturated Ketone and Unsaturated Ketone. The carbonyl group of the aromatic ketone is directly connected to the aromatic ring; the carbonyl group embedded in the ring is called intracyclic ketone, such as cyclohexanone. According to the number of carbonyl groups, it can be divided into monoketone, diketone and polyketone. The carbonyl group embedded in the ring is called intracyclic ketone, such as cyclohexanone. In a monoketone, two hydrocarbon groups connected by a carbonyl group are called monoketones, such as acetone (dimethyl ketone).

The boiling point of Ketone: Acetone: 56.2℃, Butanone: 79.6℃, 2-pentone: 102.4℃, Phenyl acetone: 216.5℃

Brief Introduction of KETONE

Its chemical property is active, easy to have nucleophilic addition reaction with Hydrocyanic Acid, Gliya reaction, Hydroxylamine, Alcohol, etc. It can be reduced to alcohol. Due to the polarization of Carbonyl group, a Halogenated Reaction can occur with the Ketone of α -H. Under alkaline condition, the methyl Ketone can produce Haloform Reaction. It can be prepared by the reaction of Carboxylic acid derivatives and organometallic compounds, with Secondary Alcohol Oxidation and Aromatic Acylation. Acetone and Cyclohexanone are important chemical raw materials.

Use of METHYL PYRROLIDONE

Methylpyrrolidone has high boiling point, low steam pressure, low toxicity, and good solubility. It can be used as solvent for polymer reactions;

N-Methylpyrrolidone is characterized by strong polarity, non-toxic, non-corrosive and easy recovery. It has been used in place of Phenol and Furfural to remove Aromatic Hydrocarbons in lubricating oil. This process is safe and reliable with low solvent loss.

Recover Acetylene, Butadiene and Pentadiene in Naphtha cracking gas;

It can be used for plugging and attachment in chemical equipment

High concentration of N-Methylpyrrolidone is also used as an ultrasonic cleaner for precision mechanical and optical instruments.

It is the main raw material for the production of artificial plasma and Vitamin B1.

Acetone Usage

Acetone is an important raw material of organic synthesis, used in the production of Epoxy Resin, Polycarbonate, Plexiglass, medicine, pesticide and so on. It is also a good solvent for coating, bonding agent, cylinder acetylene. It can also be used as thinner, cleaner, extractant. It is also an important raw material for the manufacture of Acetic Anhydride, Diacetone Alcohol, Chloroform, Iodoform, Epoxy Resin, Polyisoprene Rubber and Methyl Methacrylate. MIBK is an excellent solvent for Nitrocellulose, Polyvinyl Chloride, Polystyrene, Polystyrene, Epoxy Resins, Natural and Synthetic Rubber, DDT, 2, 4-d, and many organic compounds. Low viscosity solution can be prepared to prevent gelation.

It can be used as intermediate of medicine and dye. The Clofetezine, produced by by o-chlorobenzaldehyde can prevent the mite on the dry crops and fruit trees. Ortho-chlorobenzaldehyde oxime can be obtained by the oximation. Chlorophenoxime can be obtained by chlorination. They are all drug intermediate.

Methyl Ethyl Ketone Usage

It can be used as solvent for Cellulose acetate, Acrylic Acid Resin, Alkyd Resin, Paint, Ink, Dye Binder, Lubricant Dewaxing Agent, Curing Accelerator, etc

Finally, cyclohexene ethylamine was obtained by hydrogenation[3399-73-3]. Cyclohexaneethylamine is the intermediate of drug Kemetsch, Temelon, etc.

It can be used as a high boiling point solvent for cosmetics such as nail polish. It is usually mixed with low boiling point solvents and medium boiling point solvents to obtain a suitable volatile speed and viscosity.

Use of Ethyl Pyrrolidone

It can be used as selective solvent, catalyst and cationic surfactant. It can act as an intermediate in the production of medicine. It can also be used in refined oil and production of gunpowder, medicine, dyes, pesticides, daily chemicals, coatings and heat - resistant resin.
