Use of Paraffin with Different Melting Points

High melt point -high melt wax is very suitable for making cylindrical candles, hand-dipped fine candles, moulded candles, moulded or carved gift candles. High melt wax is very hard and cannot retain its fragrance. Its melting point is 145 degrees Fahrenheit or 63 degrees Celsius. This kind of wax is needed to make all kinds of waxes mentioned above so that the candle will not sink itself when it is cooled. If this high melt wax is used to make candles, additives are needed.

Medium Melting Point - This kind of melting paraffin wax for candlesusually used to make prayer candles and sometimes container candles. Its melting point is 127-145 degrees Fahrenheit or 53-63 degrees Celsius. This wax feels harder than low melting point wax, but it keeps its shape better. This making wax melts with paraffin waxhas good fragrance retention, but additives are needed. This type of wax is massive and needs to be cut into small pieces to melt.

Low Melting Point - This low melting point candle waxat 127 degrees Fahrenheit or 53 degrees Celsius. Soft wax is an ideal material for making container candles and has the characteristics of lasting fragrance retention. Paraffin wax melting point candleshas strong flexibility and does not need additives until the candle burns out. Softer paraffin have many advantages, but they are difficult to process and emit more soot than other waxes.
