1. Pharmaceutical excipient and protein stabilizer
It is widely used in biological preparations and injection formulations. By modifying the amino group structure, it effectively inhibits the oxidation, denaturation and aggregation of active proteins, peptides and antibodies, significantly improving the storage stability and shelf life of liquid drugs.
2. Biochemical research and laboratory reagents
As a special tryptophan derivative, it serves as a research substrate for amino acid metabolism, enzyme reaction experiments and chiral chemistry studies. It is also applied in microbial culture and cell medium preparation to provide stable tryptophan sources.
