This musu have suffcient clearance so that the largest coil or terminal pin will pass through.D2 is the outer diameter of the tip and is normally .020"to .030"（0.5mm to 0.75mm) smaller than the nominal inner diameter of the element tubes being filled. D3 is the diameter of the step on the tip of the nozzle on which the outer tube fits. It must be small enough to allow the outer fill tube to fit over it,but must have a sufficiently close fit so it will properly align the outer tube.D4 is the outer diameter of the welded spiral or machined portion of the nozzle.
