elmendorf tearing strength tester - Test Equipment
The double pendulum digital tear tester is mainly used to measure the ability of various fabrics (such as clothing fabrics, home textile fabrics, etc.) to resist tearing.
Structure and principle
Structure:
It consists of two pendulums, a clamping device, a digital display system, etc. The pendulum is a key component that can store and release energy; the clamping device can firmly fix the fabric sample; the digital display system is used to accurately record and display the data during the tearing process.
Principle:
The fabric sample is clamped on the clamping device of the instrument, and the pendulum is released from a certain height. The kinetic energy of the pendulum is used to apply a tearing force to the fabric to tear the fabric. Through the built-in sensor and digital system, the force required to tear the fabric is measured and recorded, thereby evaluating the tearing strength of the fabric.

It is widely used in fabric production and clothing manufacturing to help manufacturers and quality inspection agencies detect fabric quality and ensure that the products meet relevant standards and usage requirements.
