The AATCC Viewing Board is a laboratory instrument designed to evaluate the visual appearance of textile and apparel samples under standardized conditions. It provides controlled lighting and observation surfaces to assess wrinkling, smoothness, seam marks, oil stains, and other surface defects. By comparing samples against standard reference charts, this board enables accurate grading in accordance with AATCC evaluation standards.
