Ordinary Chain

Ordinary Chains are made of low carbon mild steel, it was so called ordinary chains or mild steel welded chains. We have short link, medium link and long link for choice. The mild steel chains is designed for non-safety critical applications, not for overhead lifting purpose. It can be used in industry, agriculture and marine purpose. We have a wide range mild steel chain including Inch size mild steel chain, DIN5685 specification chain and DIN763/764/766 specification Chains. The chain surface can bet treated with self-color, electric galvanization and hot dip galvanization.

Ordinary long link chains are a kind of mild steel welded chains. Comparing with short link chains and medium link chains, the long link chains have lighter weight in same meters, so it is the cheapest link chains by meter. With galvanized surface finish, the long link chain is a good choice for decorations due to its economic property. We can provide regular long link chains and extremely longer link chains. These long link chains are generally packed in plastic reels with different length of variety sizes. The long link chains in plastic reel can be well displayed for supper market displaying stand. We can also design and provide you the displaying stand for long link chains in plastic reel.

Quality Assurance Of Ordinary Chain

DIN standard link chains are made by carbon steel with grade 30 strength. It is also called welded link chains. According to the different inside lengths, the link chains are separated as short link chains DIN 766, medium link chains DIN 764 and long link chains DIN 763. All these chains are made according to DIN standard listed as below specifications.

DIN 766 chains are low carbon steel chain specifically designed for anchoring applications. Hot-dip galvanized short link chain calibrated to latest DIN766 standard. Each link is calibrated to ensure proper fit for most metric windlasses.

Comparing with mild steel link chains, this grade 30 welded link chains have better strength and can be "G30" marked. But none of these chains are for lifting purpose, they have no safety factor design. They can be used only for non-safety critical applications in industry, agriculture and marine field.
