Features
This device is composed of a programmable controller, LCD screen, dial indicator, distance measuring device, transmission mechanism, and onboard printer. It features a Chinese menu display, allowing users to set various parameters through a human-machine interface. It operates automatically, displaying the downward distance, increment, and deformation in real time, and prints the test data via the printer. It is easy to operate.
This equipment is a testing device used to verify the performance of products from manufacturers. It provides both Chinese and English menu displays and features a human-machine interface for setting various parameters and automatic test modes. The test control range includes functions such as test items, nominal specifications, arc shape, needle diameter, chord length, print settings, testing, upward movement, downward movement, and time settings. Test Procedures
1. Elasticity Test
Sample Fixing:
The tail/head of the curved needle is clamped into the fixture, and expanded to the standard arc increment (e.g., a 1/2 curved needle is expanded to a 3/8 curved shape).
Release Measurement: After unloading, read the deformation amount on the dial gauge. If it is ≤ the standard limit (e.g., 0.5mm for a medium needle ≤ 0.25mm), it is considered qualified.
2. Toughness Test
Bending Load:
Straight needle/triangular half-bent needle: Bent into a 6mm radius arc to 90° and held for 5 seconds.
Curved needle: Expanded to the target shape (e.g., 3/8 arc to a straight needle).
Result Determination: If there are no cracks or fractures in the needle body, it passes the test.
