Medical Face Mask Differential Pressure Tester

The Medical Face Mask Differential Pressure Tester, also known as the Mask Breathability Tester, is designed to evaluate the breathability of medical face mask materials. The instrument measures the differential pressure (ΔP) required to draw air through a defined surface area at a constant airflow rate. By providing controlled suction through the sample, the tester accurately determines the air exchange pressure and comfort performance of mask materials, which is essential for medical mask quality assessment.

Test Procedures

(1) Prepare the mask or material sample according to the standard
