Precious metal wire with titanium carbide guide wheel

The guide wheel features high-precision installation holes, with a fit clearance of 0.005–0.01 mm between the wheel and the shaft. This ensures stable rotation without shaking, thereby enhancing guiding accuracy. The guide wheel has low maintenance costs and does not require frequent lubrication; regular cleaning of surface impurities is sufficient, making it ideal for continuous operation in automated production lines. In metal wire mesh manufacturing, the guide wheel ensures uniform mesh hole size, with dimensional errors maintained within 5%, meeting the stringent requirements of filter material specifications. Hard alloy titanium carbide guide wheels are critical guiding components in wire and tube material production. They are fabricated through powder metallurgy sintering using high-purity titanium carbide and a cobalt binder phase, achieving a surface hardness of HRC88. Their wear resistance is more than 50 times that of steel guide wheels. The roundness error is controlled within 0.002 mm, ensuring smooth wire operation during high-speed drawing (up to 100 m/s) and preventing vibration or deviation. In stainless steel wire production, the use of this guide wheel can reduce the wire surface roughness from Ra1.6 μm to Ra0.4 μm, significantly improving the overall product quality.
