Automated spraying of chromium carbide powder

The powder has a high hardness, with a microhardness of up to 2200HV. The hardness of the wear-resistant coating prepared from it can reach over HRC65, making it suitable for applications that require high-stress wear, such as surface strengthening of excavator bucket teeth and crusher hammer heads. The bonding strength between the coating and the substrate is high, reaching over 50MPa, and it is not easy to peel off, ensuring long-term usage effect. In mining machinery, parts treated with chromium carbide coating can withstand the severe impact and friction of ores, and their service life is increased by 4 to 6 times. This chromium carbide powder is black in color, with a particle size of 5-25μm, a purity of over 99%, and extremely low impurity content. The particles have good dispersibility and are easy to mix with the metal matrix. After powder metallurgy sintering, highly wear-resistant parts can be produced. It is applicable to precision bearings, micro gears and other precision instrument components, which can reduce wear and improve the operational accuracy and stability of equipment.
