Hard alloy titanium carbide guide wheels exhibit excellent impact resistance. In cases where the wire is suddenly tensioned or broken, these guide wheels are less likely to crack or deform, thereby reducing the likelihood of equipment shutdown. They possess superior thermal conductivity, enabling rapid dissipation of heat generated by friction. This ensures that the operating temperature of the guide wheel remains below 80°C, preventing overheating-induced annealing of the wire. In spring steel wire production, the use of such guide wheels maintains the straightness error of the steel wire within 0.5 mm/m, significantly enhancing the fatigue resistance of the resulting springs. These guide wheels also demonstrate exceptional corrosion resistance. In chloride-rich humid environments, such as factories located near coastal areas, they can remain rust-free for more than five years, whereas conventional steel guide wheels typically last only three months. Their internal structure is highly dense, with a porosity level of less than 0.1%, effectively preventing coolant infiltration and subsequent internal cracking. During the copper tube drawing process, the friction coefficient between the guide wheel and the copper tube is as low as 0.08, which minimizes surface scratches and increases the product pass rate from 85% to 99%.
