The ss capillary tube has high precision and can be used in various measuring instruments. Based on its thick-walled, small-diameter structure (usually 1/8" or smaller diameter), such stainless steel capillary tube will be used in various key applications, including nuclear reactors and even resistance-heated ion rocket jets.

Because different alloying elements have different melting points, changing the key chemical composition in the heat affected zone (HAZ) can cause the layer to be affected by poor heat treatment and welding.
