Miniature Diaphragm Air Pumps

The working principle of the diaphragm pump is that the motor drives the elastic diaphragm to reciprocate through the eccentric wheel so that the volume of the cavity changes. The inlet and outlet are designed as one-way valves to realize the suction and discharge of the medium.

Miniature Diaphragm Air Pump 7101

This is a single-head mini diaphragm pumpwith air passing. There are mainly different flow rates to choose from: 1.4L/min, 5L/min and 8L/min.

Miniature Rolling Pump 7401

7401 series is a rotary pump that can pass both liquid and gas. The flow parameter of liquid passing is mainly 300ml/min, and the flow parameter of gas passing is mainly 1.4L/min.

Can diaphragm pumps pump air?

The diaphragm pumps are divided into two types, air diaphragm pumps and liquid diaphragm pumps. Air diaphragm pumps can dispense all kinds of gas but can’t dispense liquid. Liquid diaphragm pumps can dispense both gas and liquid.

How does a small diaphragm pump work?

The diaphragm is a simple flexible rubber which reciprocates with the connecting rod. The rod can be drove by electric motor, keyto usually use brushless DC motor and brush DC motor.

On the downstroke, the rod moves up and creates vacuum, the medium is drawn into the pump chamber.

On the upstroke, the rod moves down and it creates a pressure, the medium is expelled out the pump chamber.

Internal valves mounted within the pump head act as check valves and control the direction of flow.
