Generally, it has good chemical stability and can resist the erosion of acids, alkalis and other chemical substances within a certain range. For example, silica aerogel powder can maintain a stable structure and performance in neutral and weakly acidic or alkaline environments. With its high specific surface area and porous structure, it has a strong adsorption capacity for liquid and gas molecules, and can be used to adsorb heavy metal ions, organic pollutants in water, as well as harmful gases in the air. Aerogel powder can be compounded with various materials, such as fibers and polymers, to produce composite materials of different forms and properties, to meet the application requirements of different fields, such as aerogel felt and aerogel coatings.
