Description for 100gsm A3 and A4 dye sublimation printing paper Sublimation paper is similar to heat transfer, but the image actually becomes part of the item. It usespecial paper, ink and sublimation coated items that all react with each other to achieve this. When heated to high temperatures, sublimation ink turns into a gas and the pores of the polyester coated item open up, allowing the gas to enter. Then, once removed from the heat, the pores of the polyester item close back up trapping the ink inside.

You must use specialist sublimation dye ink - we recommend our premium CMYK inks for use in Epson printers.
