SVG also known as high voltage dynamic reactive power compensation generating device or static synchronous compensator, which is an equipment providing dynamic reactive power compensation through the self-commutated of the power semiconductor bridge converter. High Voltage Automatic Compensatoris widely used in petroleum chemical industry, metallurgy, electric power, coal, electric railway, wind power station, as well as some other industrial fields with or near the impact load and large capacity motor. And plays an important role in saving energy and reducing consumption, improving power grid security and stability, increasing power grid power factor, improving power quality, etc.
