How do Protective Agents (ForLait Liposomes) Work?
The selection of freeze-drying protection agent is an important factor affecting the quality of freeze-drying. The freeze-drying process will lead to the aggregation and fusion of liposomes, accompanied by the leakage of liposome contents, while sucrose can reduce membrane fusion and protect the liposome particles from breaking and leaking drugs during the freeze-drying process.
