Hard alloy titanium carbide guide wheels exhibit superior impact resistance, making them highly resistant to cracking or deformation under sudden wire tensioning or breakage, thereby minimizing the risk of unplanned equipment downtime. These guide wheels possess excellent thermal conductivity, enabling efficient dissipation of frictional heat and maintaining the operational temperature below 80°C, which prevents thermal annealing of the wire. In spring steel wire manufacturing, their use ensures a straightness deviation of no more than 0.5 mm/m, significantly improving the fatigue life of the final product. The groove geometry of these guide wheels can be customized according to specific wire or tube dimensions, with options including V-shaped, U-shaped, and semi-circular profiles, to accommodate diverse production requirements. Following precision polishing, the surface roughness can reach as low as Ra 0.01 μm, effectively reducing friction-induced wire damage and increasing the tensile strength of metallic wires by up to 10%. In automotive brake cable production, the consistent guidance provided by these guide wheels ensures uniform cable tension, thereby eliminating the risk of in-service failure due to localized stress concentrations.
