The length of this round bar can be customized according to specific requirements, ranging from 100 mm to 1000 mm, and it is amenable to secondary processing techniques such as precision grinding and wire cutting, enabling the production of components with complex geometries. Although its initial cost is higher than that of conventional cemented carbide, a comprehensive evaluation of service life and processing efficiency reveals a lower unit production cost. In gear manufacturing, hobs fabricated from this material ensure gear tooth surface accuracy of grade 6 or higher, satisfying the stringent demands of high-performance mechanical transmission systems. As a critical material in advanced manufacturing, titanium carbide-based hard alloy round bars exhibit excellent corrosion resistance, demonstrating minimal susceptibility to rust or degradation in humid, acidic, or alkaline environments. With a thermal conductivity approximately 15% higher than that of traditional tungsten carbide round bars, it facilitates more efficient dissipation of heat generated during machining, thereby reducing the risk of thermal-induced tool wear. The material achieves a bending strength of up to 2500 MPa, combining high hardness with adequate toughness to resist fracture under impact loading. In the aerospace industry, precision cutting tools made from this round bar are widely employed in the manufacture of engine components, meeting rigorous requirements for high-precision machining.
