In gear manufacturing, hobs fabricated from this material ensure gear tooth surface accuracy of grade 6 or higher, satisfying the stringent demands of high-performance mechanical transmission systems. As a critical material in advanced manufacturing, titanium carbide-based hard alloy round bars exhibit excellent corrosion resistance, demonstrating minimal susceptibility to rust or degradation in humid, acidic, or alkaline environments. With a thermal conductivity approximately 15% higher than that of traditional tungsten carbide round bars, it facilitates more efficient dissipation of heat generated during machining, thereby reducing the risk of thermal-induced tool wear. The material achieves a bending strength of up to 2500 MPa, combining high hardness with adequate toughness to resist fracture under impact loading.
