Wear-resistant ceramic products titanium carbide powder
Titanium carbide powder has excellent chemical stability. It is insoluble in common acids and bases such as water, hydrochloric acid and sulfuric acid, and only corrodes slowly in hydrofluoric acid and hot concentrated sulfuric acid. It is suitable as a raw material for making corrosion-resistant coatings. By spraying it onto the metal surface through the thermal spraying process, a wear-resistant coating with a thickness of 50-200μm can be formed, which can extend the service life of the parts by 5-10 times. The oxygen content of the powder is less than 0.1%, which can reduce the oxidation reaction during the sintering process and ensure the mechanical properties of the product. In oil drilling equipment, the coated drill bits prepared with this powder can withstand the high temperature, high pressure and corrosive environment underground. The powder has low toxicity and complies with environmental protection standards such as RoHS, making it suitable for use in fields with high safety requirements such as medical devices and the food industry. It has good compatibility with biological tissues. The bone repair materials made from it can promote the growth of bone cells and accelerate wound healing. The powder has good storage stability. When stored in a sealed container, its shelf life can reach more than 5 years without caking or deteriorating. In the field of dentistry, it can be used to make dental implants, which are both wear-resistant and aesthetically pleasing, with a service life of over 10 years.
