Rod grinding machine is a mining machine similar to ball mill. Rod mill is mainly used in mineral processing industry. It can grind different hardness stones. The materials that can be triturated are marbles, limestone, granites, etc.
Rod mill is called rod grinder because of the wear-resistant steel bars fitted in. Grinding rod mill achieves a larger reduction ratio and more uniform fineness with steel rods instead of the ball. Besides, rod mill can avoid the phenomenon that materials are over crushed.

This type of rod grinder includes two types: peripheral discharge rod mill and middle discharge rod mill.
