2K /2 Shot Injection Molding
A 2K/two-color mold is a mold in which two plastic materials are injected on the same injection molding machine and molded in two parts, but the product is only molded once. In general, this molding process is also called double injection molding, usually the final product is molded in only one mold, and requires a special two color injection moldingmachine.Two shot mouldingare increasingly popular in the market. This process can make the appearance of the product more beautiful, easy to change colors without spraying, but it is expensive and requires high technical processing.
Two-color injection molding refers to the injection molding of two different materials into the same set of molds, so as to realize the 2k molding processof the injection molded parts formed by the two materials. Some two materials are different colors, and some are different in softness and hardness, so as to improve the aesthetics and assembly performance of the product.
