Vinyltrimethoxysilane Description
CFS-027, vinylmethyldimethoxysilaneis a vinyl functional silane with a reactive methoxy group. It is mostly used as a silane crosslinking agent and a silane grafting agent for XLPE cables & pipes manufacturing. CFS-027 can be grafted to various polymers, such as polyethylene and polyesters. With the presence of the methoxy group, CFS-027 can also be used as a water scavenger in coatings and adhesives applications. It is normally used with amino silanes in MS polymer synthesis. CFS-027, Vinyltrimethoxysilane can replace Momentive Silquest A-171 SILANEor Dynasylan VTMO as their counterparts.
Vinyltrimethoxysilane Application
CFS-027 can be used as a crosslinker and a grafting agent in XLPE cables and PEX-b pipes. It can improve mechanical and electrical properties of PE compounds.
CFS-027 can act as a primer or an adhesion promoter in coating fields. Besides adhesion, it can also promote weatherability and extend shelf life of the system.
CFS-027 can be used for co-polymerization and improve dispersions of the system.
CFS-027 can be used as a water scavenger in adhesive and sealant processing. MS polymers synthesis is one of its main applications.
Vinyltrimethoxysilane Packaging
CFS-027 is offered in 25L PE pails, 200L PVF steel drums and 1000L IBC totes.

Vinyltrimethoxysilane Storage
CFS-027 should be stored in a cool, well-ventilated place, and avoid exposure to humidity.
When stored in a strictly sealed and unopened container, CFS-027 has a shelf life of 12months.
CFS-027 should be stored in its original containers and used up as soon as possible after opening.
