Ope wax used for rust inhibitor
Oxidised polyethylene wax may be employed in rust prevention applications. The polar functional groups on its molecular chain, such as carbonyl and hydroxyl groups, enhance adhesion to metal surfaces and protective performance in rust prevention applications. When incorporated into coatings or rust inhibitors, it forms a dense wax film upon cooling. This film exhibits excellent scratch resistance and effectively seals out moisture and oxygen, thereby achieving rust prevention.
