Its mechanism involves forming a dense protective film on the rubber surface, shielding it from environmental factors such as ozone, oxygen, and ultraviolet radiation.
Primary Functions and Advantages
Formation of a protective film: Following rubber vulcanisation, Fischer-Tropsch wax gradually migrates from the interior to the surface, forming a uniform, inert, and resilient amorphous film. This film selectively reacts with ozone, creating a protective barrier.
