6241Y cableis normally used fixed installation in domestic locations and industrial lighting in both dry and damp walls, and also can be fixed in cable tray, embedded in plaster and cable trunking.
These 6241Y cables can be designed for low smoke zero halogens (LSZH) as 6241B.

Or where there is little risk of mechanical damage these cables can be fixed with clip directly or by cable tray or embedded or in free air. They are not allowed to be laid underground.
