Dynagage wrapped stem flow sensor
Features: Using the most advanced technology to measure the stem flow to obtain the plant's water consumption determination. The energy balance probe measures the heat carried by the stem flow into real-time stem flow in g/.s or Kg/h. This probe is non-insertable, and because it is usually heated only by 1°C to 5°C, it is not harmful to crops.
Principle: The principle of energy balance is scientifically proven and available data shows that it is effective for most crops and many tree species. Compared with other methods, the stalk flow probe does not need to be calibrated, because the stem flux is directly determined by the energy balance and the heat conversion speed of the stem flow.
