LWS leaf humidity sensor
When the leaf surface has a certain amount of water vapor, the leaf surface is easily infected by some fungal and bacterial diseases. The leaf surface humidity sensor can measure the existence and duration of leaf surface humidity, so that researchers or producers can predict the occurrence of diseases and take relevant protective measures for plants or crops.
The Leaf Surface Humidity Sensor (LWS) manufactured by Decagon Devices Inc. can accurately measure the leaf surface humidity, and can detect trace water or ice crystal residue on the leaf surface. The shape of the sensor adopts the imitation blade design, which truly simulates the characteristics of the page, so it can more accurately reflect the situation of the leaf environment. It measures the amount of water or ice by changing the dielectric constant of the upper surface of the blade-like medium. Unlike a sensor based on resistance measurement, it does not require coloring or calibration, and it also provides effective monitoring of ice. LWS has low power consumption and long-term uninterrupted monitoring. It is easy to install and can be hung on the greenhouse of the greenhouse or on the mast of the weather station.
