270-WQ730 turbidity sensor
The 270-WQ730 turbidity sensor is a high-precision underwater instrument, mainly used for environmental or process monitoring. Applications include water quality testing and management, river monitoring, stream measurement, reservoir water quality testing, groundwater testing, sewage treatment, etc. For turbidity measurement, consistent with USEPA method 180.1, the turbidity sensor is a 90° scattering turbidity meter. The sensor directly emits a focused light beam into the monitored water, and the light path is reflected by the particles in the water, which inevitably produces a light intensity, which is measured by a 90° light detector. The optical density directly detected is proportional to the turbidity of the water. The turbidity sensor uses a secondary light detector for the correction of optical density changes, color changes, and lens fouling.
