There is distinct difference between hot mental precision forgingand cold forging die. To be specific, the precision cold forgeing compress the products at room temperature which can not form a more complex shape than in hot forging process.

The turbine generator shaft, rotor, impeller, blade, retaining ring, large hydraulic press column, high-pressure cylinder, rolling mill roll, internal combustion engine crankshaft, connecting rod, gear, bearing, etc., are all produced by forging.
