Roots Vacuum Pump
is a rotary variable displacement vacuum pump. Its working principle is to use two blade-shaped rotors rotating synchronously in opposite directions to perform suction and exhaust operations in the pump housing.
Product Description
Roots Vacuum Pump is a dry Positive Displacement Pump. They operate on the Roots principle, which is similar to that of rotary vane pumps. These pumps are the ideal solution when fast pumping speeds are required. In the case of contactless, oil-free compression Roots booster pumps, two symmetrical cams rotate in the working chamber. During this process, the rotating blades do not come into contact with each other or the housing. Roots Vacuum Pumps are often used in pumping stations in combination with oil-lubricated rotary vane pumps to achieve very high volume flows and deep final vacuums.
